However, as many professionals and news-makers have already published studies on why Google will have to face the demise of Google+ very soon, Alphabet’s company Google has recently announced it and they say:
“The review did highlight the significant challenges in creating and maintaining a successful Google+ that meets consumers’ expectations. Given these challenges and the very low usage of the consumer version of Google+, we decided to sunset the consumer version of Google+.” read full story here.
As you and me knows that we bloggers are using Google+ for sharing our blog posts on a daily basis and it was really a help to get our blog posts rank higher in Google search results.
Why they have decided it?
Because nobody was there to spend at-least 2 minutes on the social network and interact with other users, just a small number of user were using it to share their work or just the professionals were using it to boost their SEO and get their content pages to rank more higher.
As nobody was sticking to the Google+ another thing happened, that is why Google thinks that this is the time to kill Google+ and make people trust on Google.
And that was:
Google+ Data Breach
A massive data breach has happened on Google+ and here’s what Google said about this:
“However, we ran a detailed analysis over the two weeks prior to patching the bug, and from that analysis, the Profiles of up to 500,000 Google+ accounts were potentially affected. Our analysis showed that up to 438 applications may have used this API.”
So if you ask me that is google plus dead or google plus failure happened then I must say yes. With a lot of google plus problems now Google is all set to make future of google plus dead.
In the next year Google will officially shut down Google+ and in the meantime users will be able to download their data or find another way for uplifting their businesses.
Decline of Google Plus will also impact some businesses as there are people who have been using it for since long time and they are getting business leads from Google+.
However, as a of big data breach on Google+ – Google have decided to turn it down and let another Orkut relative take rest in peace.
